Self Care in 2020: Finding the Balance


New year. Same you. Bigger goals. This is your year to live your best life, and we’re here to provide some guidance and accountability. It all starts with the little things you do every day. Life is all about finding the balance, so here’s 20 things to start doing this year to help make self care a priority.

  1. Go to bed at a reasonable hour

  2. Stay hydrated, drink more water

  3. Journal daily about things you’re thankful for

  4. Enjoy more bubble baths

  5. Cook a nice meal for dinner once a week

  6. Exercise regularly

  7. Make more time for your girlfriends

  8. Schedule all of your annual check-ups and dentist appointments

  9. Call your parents to check-in more often (just to say hi)

  10. Eat more fruits and vegetables

  11. Work on a passion project at work

  12. Set-up automatic transfers to your savings account

  13. Take your make up off every single night

  14. Buy more flowers at the farmers market or grocery store

  15. Read a book that changes your life

  16. Use sunscreen liberally

  17. Enjoy more screen free nights

  18. Make someone laugh everyday

  19. Spend more time outside

  20. Drink good wine
